How many people attend your parties?
We generally have up to sixty people at
each party. We arrange each event to ensure an even ratio
of women to men. The
page will list cost, dates, times and availability.
Where are the parties held?
The parties are held at various venues around
Toronto. To view a full listing of events please visit the

How long does a party last?
A party usually lasts about three hours.
They are held on weeknights, at various venues around the
city. You are welcome to mingle with others after the event.
What kind of prizes can I win through the draws?
The only way you can win prizes is through
unlocking with another participant and receiving a draw ticket
at the reception table. The prizes range from: gift cards,
concert tickets and luxury bags with various products.
Are there any specific requirements or rules to attend an
event?
Yes. To keep the event enjoyable and comfortable
for everyone there are certain rules you need to know:
1. You must be single and over the age
of 19 years old and read and accept our Terms and Conditions.
2. You should not ask anyone for his/her contact information
– unless offered the information.
3. You should not ask sexually explicit questions, or any
other inappropriate questions.
4. You need to read and accept the Terms and Conditions.
Please let us be aware of anyone who does not abide by these
rules.
MATCHES
E-mail Matches only occur at the following Events/Parties: Lock
and Key and Board Game Parties.
When will I get information about my matches?
If you attend a party where matches are
used, we will inform you with any matches by e-mail within
48 hours following the event. You will receive the first name,
last name initial and e-mail address of everyone you marked,
who also chose you.
What if I meet someone that I like who is not a "match"?
You are free to ask for or hand out contact
information on your own discretion. When you check in, you’ll
receive small “Flirt” cards, where you can give
out your first name and e-mail address.
What do I do when I "unlock" another person at a
Lock and Key Event/Party?
Once you find a match to your lock or key,
you then walk over to the Lock and Key table and exchange
your old hardware for a new lock or key. You will also a ticket
that gets entered into the draw at the end of the evening.
The objective is to make as frequent matches as possible to
acquire more draw tickets – and meet more people. The
more tickets you have, the more chances you have to win various
prizes and have fun.
What if I "unlock" someone that isn't a match for
me?
You are not obligated to talk with or mingle
with anyone, where you don’t feel there is any chemistry.
If you unlock with someone that isn’t a “match”
for you, just walk over to the table to turn in your locks
and keys for new ones and continue your search.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
Why do I need to book in advance?
We need to ensure a balance of men and women
and that enough people will be attending each event. We also
want to ensure the quality and safety of the event. You must
print out and bring your proof of payment to the event.
How do I sign up to the party and how do I get a ticket?
The cost depends on the type of party, please
see the Parties or Sign up page for more details. You must
register on-line, payment options include: PayPal and PayPal
Credit Card. With PayPal Credit you can pay using your credit
card through a secure server. You do not need a PayPal account
to use this service. Please print out a copy of your payment
and bring it with you to the event as proof of payment. Payment
should be made to: payment@urbansocial.ca.
What is PayPal?
PayPal is a fast, easy and secure electronic
payment system. You can use your credit card to make an instant
payment and your financial information is kept private as
PayPal uses SSL technology to keep your information safe.
You don’t have to be a PayPal member to make a payment.
Just follow the on-line instructions and your payment will

What if I need to cancel my spot?
If you wish you can attend an alternate evening.
In the unfortunate circumstance you need to cancel, please
give us five (5) days notice. This will allow others to take
your place at the party. You will receive a full refund, but
only with sufficient notice. If you cannot attend, please
be courteous and let us know. The e-mail address is: team@urbansocial.ca.
You will not receive a refund unless you cancel within the
